Privacy and teleconsultation information

Last updated: 14 September 2026

This page explains the information used to provide online consultations. It is not a substitute for medical advice.

Information we collect

When you join a consultation, you may provide your name, age, symptoms, allergies, current medicines, medical history, language preference, and information needed to issue a prescription. You may also optionally provide an ABHA number or ABHA address. It is not required to join, and this website does not currently provide ABDM record exchange. Consultation queue and prescription records are linked to a patient identifier.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the waiting room, conduct the consultation, prepare prescriptions, provide follow-up care, prevent duplicate records, and protect the service. We do not record consultation audio or video by default.

Website analytics

Public information pages use Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate website usage, such as page views, navigation, and technical interactions. Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies and may capture session behavior for service improvement. It is not used on private consultation, patient, or doctor portal pages, and clinical consultation details are not submitted to Clarity.

Security and access

Doctor-only records require authenticated access. Patient prescription access is limited to the consultation queue entry that generated it. Do not share private consultation links or tokens.

Optional ABHA information

If you choose to provide an ABHA number or ABHA address, it is stored in the consultation record only after your explicit consent. You may leave the field blank and continue. You can create or manage an ABHA through the official ABHA portal. Do not enter ABHA details in a public message, URL, or emergency request. This website does not claim to be ABDM-integrated or government-approved.

Retention and corrections

Clinical records may need to be retained for care, safety, and legal obligations. If information is incorrect, ask the doctor to correct it; corrections should preserve the original clinical history. Development test records may be removed by the doctor while the service is being tested.

Emergencies

This service is not for emergencies. For life-threatening symptoms, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.

Questions

For privacy or record questions, contact the doctor using the contact method provided during your consultation.
